We are looking forward to moving to our new facility at 1640 Winchester Road. Our first day of services at the new facility will be AUGUST 29, 2010.

We are meeting at the Lincoln church of Christ building until that time. Lincoln's address is 1307 Meridian Street (see maps under the "Location" tab). Our services are:

8:00 AM Sunday worship

4:30 PM Sunday Classes & PM worship

5:30 PM Wednesday Bible study

We welcome you to our services and our fellowship!

July 4 Singing Service

Good Monday Morning to All,

A lot of you are probably wondering why the Newsline is late this morning.  Tiny called me and told me she was sick and didn’t feel like coming in.  Hope it is not too serious and she comes back tomorrow.  She is such an inspiration to me when I come in every morning.  We always have to chat a few minutes and update each other about our weekend activities.  I guess John will have to listen to me this morning. Ha!  Bless his heart.

It was a great singing last night as we sang in our new auditorium.  We had several visitors come and it was good to see them.  It sure will take some getting adjusted until we choose where we “sit for the next 15 years”, as Larry said yesterday.  He is so right!  Several of us sat on a different side and that really feels strange.  It appears most of us have chosen a regular place at Lincoln, so that might give us some practice before the real thing. 

Our stats for Sunday were 284 for the a.m. service, and 255 for the singing at Chase Park. The contribution for Sunday was $14,522.02 and the bldg fund was $565.

SICK

Skylyn Holzheimer Owens (former member) will have surgery at Centennial Hospital in Nashville on Wednesday, June 9^th at 7:30 am.  Her home address is 6002 Crestview Ct. Mt Juliet, TN  37122.

Andrew Lamica’s sister, Penny Lamica, in Massachusetts, is very sick.  She has had cancer for several years and has been doing pretty well.  Unfortunately, now the cancer has apparently spread and she is developing other complications.  The family has been given a poor prognosis and would appreciate your cards and prayers.  We will get her address for you in tomorrow’s newsline.

HUNTSVILLE HOSPITAL

Hugh Luna, room 846.  Hope to go to rehab sometime this week. 

Wayne Burton, 1747 has suffered a stroke.

WHITESBURG GARDENS HEALTHCARE

HOME:  George Reed, Jim Ferguson and Dot Kelley (shoulder surgery yesterday).  Good to see June Steelman yesterday morning.

SUPER SENIORS

Super Senior meet Wednesday, June 9^th, no lunch.

WE CARE

Team #3, led by Jim and Sharon McLaughlin, will meet at the home of Fred and Mary Wells, on Friday, June 11 at 5:30 pm. 

Team #6, led by Dick and Dian Smith, will meet next Sunday evening, June 13, following worship at Dick and Dian's home.

GOSPEL MEETING

Plainview Church of Christ will began their gospel meeting yesterday and will go through Tuesday, June 8 at 7:00 pm.  Speaker is Keith Parker.
